LOT 6 — RAINFOREST MEADOW LOT

Lot 6 holds one of the most striking outlooks of all our land, with a natural amphitheatre of lush tropical grass set against a walled semicircle of ancient rainforest. The forest forms a living border around one side of the block before the land opens out into a fertile green grass meadow and open grasslands further beyond.

Stand in the centre and you’re caught between two worlds; the rainforest rising in a sweeping arc on one side, and open grassland stretching away on the other.

 The rainforest creates a constant soundscape: a rich, ever-changing chorus of birds and insects that forms the unmistakable soundtrack of life in the rainforest. It’s the best of both worlds in one block – the shelter and presence of old growth rainforest, balanced with open meadow and grasslands beyond.

Close to the Three Ways and the approach into the Lockhart River community, Lot 6 also carries quiet appeal for anyone considering something beyond a private home — its setting alone would suit an eco-tourism venture (subject to approvals). But really, it’s a block that doesn’t need a purpose to justify it. It’s simply one of the most atmospheric pieces of land on offer.
